Fuck, did I just say that? O_O
Anyways, I turned up to the gym quite early, and decided to have another go at running. My first unsupervised, More Then Five Minutes run. 15 minutes. I know I'm capable of doing 2km in 15mins, and I know I need to get back up to that. Mentally, it was quite tough. The last time I went running was in March. Far out. Well over a month ago. Given that I very nearly got to 2km in 15mins, I think I did bloody well. What an awesome birthday gift.
It was great being warmed up and pumped going in to RPM, though I was a bit worried that Jaci might have remembered about my birthday since she singled me out last year. Thankfully, she didn't remember. *phew*
The ride? Awesome. We're talking sweaty wrists on track THREE. Fantastic. Only problem was my bike's seat was having problems - the seat kept swivelling about, and the height kept on sinking as the class went on. I had to get off the bike a couple of times and readjust the bike.
Two great workouts. All the better to neutralise a big dinner with. Mwahahaha.
